Chef-Pastry – “Victorian” Inn & casual style Bistro restaurant seeks experienced baking & pastry  Chef  to workwith the Exec. Chef & Pastry Interns with Breakfast and Restaurant service preparation.  Emphasis on quality,skill & from scratch (a formal service seasonal restaurant, located on beautiful Block Island).  A savor background is a plus to be incorporated into the menus

Required Skills::
- Must have thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques, be an educator and teacher - Must have knowledge of culinary baking and pastry preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations - Availability to work a flexible schedule that will include weekends and holidays, living in a resort location - Must have excellent organizational and communication skills - Must have the creativity for developing new, creative items - Must be creative and willing to accept input - Works with latest techniques, bread, pastries, desserts, etc - Savory background a plus for incorporation into creative menu ideas...
