Pink Taco, a playful, venturesome, Mexican concept is coming to Chicago! We are searching for a “Rock Star” Event Sales and Catering Manager to introduce our unique brand to the Taco lovers of the Windy city. Located in the renowned River North part of the city, Pink Taco is bringing its simple, uncomplicated style of genuine hospitality, innovative food and great tequila.

We are looking for a General Manager who leads with uncompromising integrity, a focused vision, and a servants heart.  In addition to ensuring that your guests always have an unforgettable experience, you must also be well-versed and experienced in restaurant operations, thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment, and be able to train, develop, and lead management and staff with relentless passion.



Identify and develop appropriate sales contacts and leads.
Conduct inquiry calls, account maintenance, qualification calls, outside calls, site visits, concierge visits, and other sales activities; ensures that these activities are updated in a timely manner and logged in the sales database.
Develop, plan and execute local marketing events, initiatives and strategies to drive Dining and Catering.
Plan and execute corporate events as outlined in the standard operating procedures.
Understand, develop and leverage all local relationships.
Participate in executing all company-wide marketing initiatives.
Accurately execute all Company initiatives, policies and procedures, with improvement to quality, service and operations.
Follow up on sanitation, maintenance, security and prevention of injury from accidents to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Guarantee service and all points of guest contact meet RMR standards.
Prepare Private Dining & Catering forecast reports.
Participate in management meetings, and employee pre-event meetings.
Exhibit efficiency in completing job requirements through working with a sense of urgency, consolidating tasks, delegating and empowering others while managing marketing efforts.
Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Must have your own reliable transportation, a valid DL, all mileage will be reimbursed

Required Skills::
• 3-5 years of previous hospitality sales experience. • Knowledge of the “Reserve Banquet Software" a plus • Strong sales skills. • Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner while maintaining a positive working relationship inside and outside the four walls. • Good judgment and the ability to problem solve and make timely and sound decisions. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills. • Must have and maintain current ServSafe and/or Food Service Management Professional Certifications (or equivalent). • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. • Ability to manage self and be self-motivated. • Travel required for this position is primarily limited to local travel.
