Overview

Acts as Assistant to Executive Chef in preparation, cooking, and expediting.  Prepares or assists in preparation of complete meals – preparing and cooking soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, salads, etc.  . ..

Responsible for opening the kitchen for lunch, lunch prep, lunch service and prep for dinner service.  Works under guidance and direction of the owner/manager and Executive Chef.  Must be able to work well with others, have an even temperament.  Pay based on experience and will be discussed in interview.

Also hiring for Grill Cook to work directly with Executive Chef during dinner service.

This is a 84-seat family-owned restaurant located on a lake in Lincoln Trail State Park, just south of Marshall IL.  Currently  undergoing renovations to enlarge the kitchen, install new equipment, adding an additional 60 seats.  If you would like to be part of a fast-growing restaurant in a forward-thinking kitchen, contact me for an interview!
