As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, setting up cook’s station, maintaining product presentations, product quality, cook time standards and preparing all menu items according to company recipes, plate presentations and specifications. Duties of this position will include set up of equipment, verification of stock, the cleaning of equipment, and preparing food items to specification while maintaining a clean work area. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, able to lift 25-40 pounds, use knives, slicing and other food preparation equipment while standing and exert well-pace mobility for periods of up to 10 hours.
As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for maintaining a running weekly prep sheet of all items for the the restaurant. You will need to be able to follow recipes and directions for all items to ensure that quality and consistency measures are met. You are required to keep a clean and well maintained work area with proper rotation of stock, item labeling, and handling of all items to standard health codes. Th applicant will also be asked to help maintain dish pit if needed. All applicants must have a good attitude and ability to work with others.
