2 Sets up and maintains Hot Breakfast by preparing hot food items according to the Drury training guidelines and follows the Daily Shift Checklist for Hot Breakfast
During breakfast serving hours, maintains serving areas by restocking as needed; cleans counters, tables, floors / carpets as needed, prepares additional hot food items to keep up with demand. Pours coffee and greets / interacts with guests by engaging in conversation.
After serving hours, breaks down the serving line according to Drury procedures (i.e., refrigerates and labels items as necessary; washes all coffee pots; washes all equipment / dishes used during breakfast according to sanitation guidelines; cleans all counters / tables; may vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors, remove and discard trash, etc.)
Preps hot food items for next day according to forecasted demand (
Appreciates the diversity of our team members and guests and contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times.
Completes special weekly cleaning duties: i.e., refrigerators, storage areas, cabinets, proofer, convection oven, juice / soda machines, etc.
Monitors guests’ satisfaction of the breakfast, and informs General Manager of special comments made by guests.
Complies with hotel’s safety / security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently while protecting self, fellow workers and the hotel.
